Six months ago I got the text. That text changed my life forever. I would no longer look at a baby and just see a baby. I’d see a miracle – the way God intended our babies to be….little, tiny, miracles!
I remember my sister saying I better hurry. I remember rushing to the hospital to watch her give birth to my newest nephew.
At the time I didn’t know if he’d be a he or a she – and I had no clue I’d have less than 15-minutes to capture his birth. It still feels like yesterday. My brother-in-law and their doula on one side of her, nurses on the other – everyone cheering her on! Before long the doctor pulled him out and raised him into the air – our little miracle had arrived and he was absolutely perfect!
Now, six months later, he’s still perfect! Only difference now is that Wendy isn’t getting the cheers anymore, little Damian is! And Jason isn’t doing the cheering, the other kiddos are! You should have seen the amazing performance Damian’s big brother Brendan put on throughout this shoot to get him to laugh….it was hilarious!
So, without further ado, here’s the little guy: Damian | 6-months-old!
