I’ve traveled a lot of places and met a ton of people along the way – but let me tell you, Wisconsin farming families are made up of the most joyful, loving, kind-hearted people I have ever met! I may be biased (being from this state), but seriously – they are the absolute best!
Not only did I get to capture them climbing hay bales, walking down country roads, and peeking out of the hay mound windows…but I also got to enjoy their cozy, farm-house kitchen afterward, where they let me indulge in summer sausage, cheese and crackers! Those of you who know me know that food is the key to my heart, and boy-oh-boy, did this family steal my heart!
Here they are – the K4G family! Four generations of Kussow farming, and the fifth generation is already lined up – getting their hands dirty in preparation for their takeover someday! What an amazing crew to meet and wonderful people to work with. I am beyond blessed!
